Justice of God
God’s justice means He always acts rightly, judges truthfully, and upholds what is morally good.
Formal Definition
The justice of God is His perfect righteousness in all His judgments, actions, and moral government.
Key Scriptures
Deuteronomy 32:4
Psalm 89:14
Romans 3:25–26
Psalm 89:14
Romans 3:25–26
Explanation
God never acts arbitrarily or unjustly. His justice is not external to Him, as though He measured Himself against a higher standard. Rather, He Himself is the righteous standard. The cross displays that God remains just even while justifying sinners in Christ.
